Meet our bride and groom: Janna and Taylor
Tell us about your proposal!
"Taylor proposed to me on July 27th, 2018 in Oceanside, CA. I flew out to see him (he was training at Camp Pendleton - he’s a marine) and he took me on a walk at the beach on base and we were just reminiscing on our relationship, then he got down on one knee and I just gasped! My mom was there and she filmed the whole thing on Facebook live. It was the sweetest thing!"
Why did you pick the venue that you chose?
"We chose Greenleaf Barn because it has such a simple elegance to it. It was also the most beautiful venue that didn’t bust the budget. The features at the venue made it even better! Chairs and tables included, a kitchen, and such a beautiful back drop."
"I went with sweet and simple decor - white, blush, and greenery. I wanted it to reflect that simple elegance that the venue had. Nothing over the top."
"I chose roses (symbolic of love of course), ranunculus (for their simple beauty), and eucalyptus."
"I had a table set up with pictures of our grandparents on their wedding day with a letter to them thanking them for showing us what love and marriage looks like. We share our wedding date with my Nana and Papa; It’s a really special day for us. When Taylor and I found that out we knew we were meant for each other and we had to get married on May 31st."
The outdoor wedding took place under our arbor in front of the pond.
"My favorite part was saying our vows at the alter (we didn’t use notes, we said it straight from the heart)."
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Jordan!
