Whoever says winter weddings aren't beautiful has not been to a wedding at the barn! Even so, this December wedding with fresh snow fall should change anyone's mind.
Meet our bride and groom: Kailey and Noah
"Noah and I met in high school when we both attended the same youth group. We really got to know each other in 2014, after we had started college and stuck around in that same youth group to be small group leaders. We went on our first official date that year, to play soccer at some local fields. Ultimately we didn’t end up pursuing a relationship at that time. We stayed absolute best friends for the next 6 years though! At the beginning of 2020, we decided to give it another shot. In June, we went on our second first date, dinner and stargazing. We made things official in July, booked our wedding venue in August, and in October he proposed on the same soccer field we first played on in 2014."
"We chose Greenleaf because of the location, the aesthetic, and ability to choose our own vendors, and the price. It exceeded all of our expectations and fit our budget perfectly! It was the one and only venue we saw in person, we were sold the moment we walked in."
"We chose champagne & burgundy as our colors and built everything off of that! We kept it simple with white linens on the tables, and only greenery, and candles for the centerpieces."
The alcove with sliding barn doors made a perfect spot for the farm table used as a treat table.
"We tried to incorporate as many friends and family into the wedding day as possible! We had friends and family do everything from decorating, to the photography, to hair and make up, and the band. It was really special to spend that day surrounded by people we loved instead of strangers!"
"We had a floral swag and tulle drape to decorate the barn door that we got married in front of. We had a 6:30 pm ceremony, so it was dark outside and we kept the lights lower! We decided to have our guests sit at their tables for the ceremony, with 3 rows of free standing chairs on either side of the aisle up front for our immediate family to sit in. It made the best use of the space and prevented us from having to turn the room over between the ceremony and reception"
"We catered in Charlie’s Chicken, and danced the night away with the Hi-Fidelics."
"Our favorite part of the day was hands down our time alone together after the ceremony. We made the choice to go into the bridal suite immediately following the ceremony and eat dinner alone together while our guests went through the buffet line. It was such an exciting and emotional day that it was so nice to have a moment to ourselves to soak in being husband and wife!"
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Bash!
