Meet our bride and groom: Avery and Brandon
"We met our junior year (February 2018) in college working at Insomnia Cookies in Stillwater. I was a baker and he was a delivery driver. The first night we worked together our manager actually told me that he would become my boyfriend and 3 months later it became true! You could say the rest was history."
"I have always dreamed of having my wedding at a white barn. After doing some searching online, Greenleaf came up and I knew I had to go tour. Sure enough as soon as I pulled in I got goosebumps and knew this was were I wanted to have our special day and marry the man of my dreams here!"
"Honestly Pinterest inspired my wedding decor (haha). I feel like every girl has that one Pinterest board hidden away of what they want their wedding to be like when the day finally comes. I knew I really liked the navy/gray color scheme. I thought it went great with the white barn and greenery I had decorating the tables. I wanted my decor to be simple and mainly focus on how beautiful the barn was and show it off."
"My favorite part of the day was getting to celebrate marrying my best friend with all our family and friends! With what is going on right now regarding COVID we didn’t know if we were going to be able to have our wedding, but thankfully we were! I couldn’t have asked for a better day."
"I love to dance and I wanted it to be something that people would look back on our wedding and say they had a blast doing. I also knew that some people don’t really prefer to dance so that is why we wanted some yard games to play as well. Brandon’s dad actually made us our own personalized corn-hole game which was a huge hit for the night!"
"We had cookies and ice cream instead of your traditional wedding cake as dessert since we met at a cookie shop. One of our friends who still works there actually brought Insomnia Cookies so we could have them and let our guests try some super yummy cookies all the way from Stillwater!"
"Something that made our day unique is that Channel 6 interviewed my wedding day coordinator and I about planning/having a wedding during COVID. It was such a cool experience and now something we will always have to look back on. Not many people can say their wedding was put on the news!"
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Lear!
